It is crunch time for the American Heart Association fundraiser on March 19, 2011. We need money NOW.   Raffle tickets for the Helicopter Drop and money must be returned NOW.   We really need the help of everyone in the club to sell at least one book of five tickets for the ball drop. This tournament represents you and me and we must do all we can to make it successful.

If you have a contact and can get things for the raffle, please acquire them NOW. We have a solicitation letter ready if you need it. Gift certificates to restaurants, hotels, and electronic items would be great to have. You know the kind of stuff you would like to have. HELP. If you have things we can arrange to have them picked up. It is just critical that we do it NOW.

We are committed for 80 golfers. We are almost sold out. Don’t you be left out, make your reservation TODAY.

The person who sells the most Helicopter Drop tickets will be awarded a foursome at an upscale golf course. Help the cause by selling as many Ball Drop tickets as you can. The helicopter drop is a first for us, so let’s make sure it is a success.

Those of you going to Myrtle Beach, this is a reminder that the balance of your payment is due by March 24th. You can pay by credit card by contacting Candace, Jim or Wren toll free at 866-734-1433).

We still need players from our club for the Hightower tournament on February 25. This tournament supports the Junior Golf program. Our club is not having a February tournament in order to allow our members to support the Hightower tournament.

For those of you planning to go to South Africa next year, this is just a reminder to start your Savings Account for this once in a lifetime trip to Johannesburg, Sun City, Cape Town and Egypt.

…………… Doris
